Haven't had a chance to see the second week of the guys semifinal yet. With the switch-a-roo on the performance night's due the Bowersox medical drama (rumor has it was/is diabetes related), I was more curious to see what was going on "live" vs. catching up on the previous night.
So I have no idea how Tim Urban did this week, though I can't imagine it could have been worse than his surprise return to the competition. After he finished singing, my thought was that... yes, it was too late to apologize. Thank you! I'm here all week!
So while he may not be the next American Idol, I am sure these photos will help semifinalist Tim Urban get a job or two in the future.
It isn't yet known if Tim Urban was competing in some sort of muscle man contest for these pictures, but "Oh No They Didn't" posted them and now all the blogosphere can feast its eyes on Tim Urban's glorious visage. Urban is one of the semi-finalists for "American Idol" and while he isn't one of the strongest vocalists in the competition, we may be seeing a lot of him due to the aforementioned hunky good looks and the fact that Vote for the Worst has thrown their weight behind Mr. Urban.

Update: Did finally get around to seeing this 2nd week of semis and also that he survived this week! While he definitely improved, it's probably not enough to get him into the "big show" with the Top 12, but given that I don't think the talent pool, especially with the guys, is that deep this season... who knows! I agreed with Ellen he would be great on a show like Glee... in my opinion, reminiscent of Finn... cute and a passable/alright singing voice, fun to watch as long as if he's not singing all the time.
Oh my, hello! So yeah, I did watch the guys' night, and it was all a big bowl of "meh." Tim Urban did relatively better than last week, but still, meh. ;-)
