Slumdog 15 Minute-aire

Another entry for the WTF? / Really? / Huh? department...

I had to rub the sleep out of my eyes and get some coffee in me before if I was sure if this is really what I saw in my "New Arrivals on Kindle" e-mail this morning.

I really don't know where to begin...

'Dancing To The Music In My Head' sounds like something that might be the title of the book of someone who went through some psychiatric treatment...

I always find it comical that someone who has not even turned 20 can write anything that can approximate "memoirs"  (note that I couldn't bring myself to categorize this as a "books" post)

And the biggest spit-take of them all, it is memoirs... "of the people's Idol"

Ummm, the "joke" contestant of American Idol Season 6... known more for his hair than his singing (let along his dancing... to the music... in his head)... who we haven't heard from much, musically or otherwise, since he left the Idol stage a couple of years ago... though some quick Wiki-research tells me... that along with the book comes the release of an EP on iTunes (same name as the book!).

Anyhow, Sanjaya will probably prove me wrong and become a sensation... and become the most successful 7th Place Idol contestant of all-time!
