When checking out some talk show line-ups, I got kind of excited interested when I saw Mario Lopez was going to be in something called...

Holiday in Handcuffs

Unfortunately, the images and dialogue ("Who's been a very naughty boy this year?") going through my head didn't quite line up with the actual plot:

A struggling artist (Melissa Joan Hart) working as waitress kidnaps one of her customers (Lopez) to bring home and meet her parents at Christmas.

Sounds destined to be a holiday classic, huh?  Throw out the "meet her parents at Christmas" part and it's pretty much Kathy Bates and Misery!   

I guess throw together a former teenage witch and Mr. "Can My Dimples Possibly Make Me Any Cuter"... kidnapping morphs into fun holiday fare for entire family!  Oh, that's right... it's airing on the ABC Family Channel (this Sunday, December 9th)... as part of their 25 Days of Christmas series.

Maybe Mario's next TV movie, Husband For Hire, holds more promise... oh wait, according to IMDb, that one also stars Tempestt Bledsoe (you know, Vanessa from The Cosby Show)... ugh.  I guess that means this one is nudity-free as well.
