Snarky Monday

Kind of a low-energy, unmotivated Monday morning here.  It has been cloudy, damp and rainy here in Phoenix since Friday... and given that we are usually (and aptly dubbed) the Valley of the Sun... it doesn't take too many craptastic days in a row to feel a bit "under the weather"... mentally, that is.

Other than an extra set of four-legs (we're dogsitting Todd's "sister" bitch doggie), the weekend ended up being fairly low key.  I tagged along while Todd while did some shopping. I attained my goal of finishing the holiday cards/letter, though they are not yet in the mail... and got those last gift cards that also need to be sent off to my family.  Thankfully no packages requiring prolonged visit to a post office or shipping store.  Otherwise, it was some TiVo catch-up, though things are really starting to dry up between the writers' strike and the usual holiday new programming hiatus.

My Internet/shipping success continues.  Another package ordered earlier in the week arrived on Saturday... though it was something for me!   Now, I know one shouldn't go buying presents for oneself just a couple of weeks ahead of Christmas... but I had seen this t-shirt around and kept meaning to order it, so when I bought something out of the catalog for someone else, I just figured what the heck... here it is:

If you haven't figured it out by now, I am a t-shirt addict!   While I know this will not endear me to many, for a good part of the year (except, of course, right now and for the next 2 months or so), t-shirts are "work" clothes for me... so my collection just keeps on growing.

UPDATE:  Since this post is getting a bit more attention than normal (thanks to Kenneth!)...
