Hello darkness my old friend...
Yes, folks the time has come... the sound of silence is all you will hear (read!) on Whine & Cheese for the next week or so, but if you listen closely you may here some crickets chirping.
I am off to airport in about 6 hours for the big East Coast parental visit... so I guess it is about time to start getting serious about some packing.
And since things have been so busy lately (work and meager attempts to 'get ready'), I have absolutely nothing planned for you... no guest bloggers, no pre-posted entries... nada, nothin', zip! So just come back next week and see how it all panned out...
As previously noted, it is all going to be a bit of a whirlwind. Red-eye flight tonight, rest and visit the remainder of Tuesday, an overnight Atlantic City trip on Wednesday, rest Thursday afternoon and evening, Todd takes the red-eye on Thursday and gets in on Friday morning, visit to my best friend the rest of Friday, off to NYC on Saturday morning, back to the folks on Sunday afternoon... and catch mid-day flight back here on Monday!
Weather.com has already prepared us that our ONE day in Manhattan will be rainy (only 60% chance though!)... but we'll just try to keep to our ambitious, very touristy plan and see how much we can knock out!
