Ay! CaRUMBA!

Continued thanks for hanging in with me on the travelogue... if your eyes are glazing over as soon as you see one of those entries... we only have ONE more entry to go... then I have to start coming up with some new material... eek!

But going into the weekend, I thought I would give you a little eye candy.  As recently mentioned, I am giving the schlock-erific ABC summer series, Dancing With the Stars, a whirl (ha!)... and I guess it is no surprise that I have become enamoured with one of the professional dancers.   While I am not going to dignify this show with an official Fine Wine nominee... allow me to present Alec Mazo!

Alec is pictured here with his "celebrity" partner, Kelly Monaco of General Hospital. While Kelly is pretty hot (for a girl <g>!)...  Alec definitely got me all warm and tingly as he danced the rumba on the latest episode to the cheese-tastic "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias.... "you can take my breath away... <gasp>"!

The duo have been totally slammed by the judges in the first two weeks... but survived the first cut thanks to the viewer voting (me thinks are too distracted to get around to watching the dancing).

The show's website describes the 27-year old American (though of Russian descent) as "a very dominant, powerful male on the dance floor. He is fully aware of his good looks and admits that he concentrates on the aesthetic side of the performance as he knows that's what he's good at."  He currently dances professionally with Edyta Sliwinska, the 'lil spitfire paired with Evander Holyfield on the show.

Alec Mazo is the reason I didn't miss any episode of the show. Not is he just a gorgeous man, but he is a great dancer, I enjoyed watching every of his moves.

I'm so glad Kelly and Alec won, they were amazing right from the beginning... and yes he is insanely gorgeous, one of my friends older brothers looks a lot like him... rawr!

In regards to the beautiful Alec, and this from a 42 yr old mother of 4, to put it politely...he gets me excited!...Was it just me, or were there some sparks between he and Kelly?

omg! what am i going to do now that alex mazo's hot body can no longer be seen since 'dancing with the stars' is over??! oh mannnn...i think he is the sexiest guy ever! and seeing him dance with kelly monaco was 'breathtaking' to say the least! mmmm mmm i miss him!!! :-)

byob to tell you the truth he can be nice , but the bad thing about him is hes stuck up and conceited, I'm not trying to be rude but i'm telling the truth. The fame has truely gone to his head but he was always like this before as well, ever since i started dancing at the school he teaches at which was 5 years ago, he knew he was good and that gave him a big head. I think he'd be a nicer person if he wasn't so narcissistic. Like some of these things that he said about himself (which I got from the dance school website):

and

He is fully aware of his good looks.

I mean he might be good looking but saying so himself? Don't your think thats just a little bit vain? Anyways. Other then that hes nice but he just needs to deflate that ego of his. (A bunch of us thought that if he lost Dancing with the Stars it would give him a reality check but he didn't and now his head is as big as ever)

And I don't think edyta minds. Atleast she doesn't act like she minds at dance class.

I have the finale on Tivo,and like a dork,still watch it a couple of times a week,I love to watch the Rumba and their Perfect Score dance!!And,yes,absolutely there were sparks between Alec and Kelly. Boy can he move on the dance floor,He has a perfect build,even my 71 year old mom agrees he is SEXY!!!But they were on Regis and Kelly together and Kelly Ripa asked if they were dating or anything because of the obvious chemistry,and they both said they were single,and he said it was just a professional relationship???How could you dance together,both look like they do and not feel some attraction??Not me!!

I agree that Alec can be kinda big headed but he's a sweet guy and he does care on the inside (if you can get through to him) Kelly was really lucky! not everyone can pull of that macho dancer sexy pants fast feet tough guy look (that was a mouth full) so....

he needs to be back on DWTS. Edita is one lucky chica
