Ok, I have no real good ideas about what to blog about... so I will just tell you what is going on this weekend, etc. (I realize I am acting under the assumption that anyone cares - but if I worried about that, this blog likely would not exist!)
We are going to our first Arizona Diamondbacks home game tonite. As I may have mentioned, we decided not to renew our season tix this year. I am guessing we probably ate 60% of our tix last season... and baseball tix ain't cheap! So fortunatley, Todd was able to get into a group thing at work with 8 other folks -- so this will be the first of 10 games. Curious to see what the seats are like -- they are right behind home plate, but 30 rows or so up (lower deck though).
Todd has some family in town this weekend - so we will be heading down to to visit them at Todd's parents on Sunday morning/afternoon ... and then hosting on Sunday night as their flight leaves Phoenix Sky Harbor airport on Monday a.m.
So I am suspecting that Saturday will be spent getting the house "ready" and getting the other normal weekend errands done. My office is a wreck at the moment so that will probably take some time to get neat & tidy -- long overdue and much needed motivation to finally get to it. We usually try to make it to the Salsa Challenge in Scottsdale -- it is a charity event where local restaurants and regular folks compete in a salsa competition -- but not sure if we'll have enough time ... and besides, after testing 20+ salsas (and that's skipping a lot of booths!) it usually does not end up being the best thing for one's digestive system!
And I guess finally there is our new Saturday night activity - what new cocktail can we try? We have been experimenting in martini-land of late... did the traditional, did the appletini ... and last weekend we tried a cosmo-ish concoction of cranberry, citrus vodka, and Cointreau which was quite good... so time to hit the recipe list and see what's next!

Ed, I say blow off the housecleaning and go to the big NASCAR race on Saturday night. Sounds like *way* more fun to me! ;-)

Google is a wonderful thing! I think you guys should come up with a recipe for the W&C readers. :)
