Time to do some house-cleaning in the Fine Wine department, 2005 has been a pretty slow year thus far ... only one new addition in a month and a half... and with end of TAR6, alas we must bid Aaron goodbye. Don't worry, I have a feeling Aaron will be back when we annouce our Fine Wine Winter 2004-05 finalists at the end of this month.
So it is time to fill up the list again ... I plan on trying to roll out a new crew over this week...and we start off with Bradley Cooper (click the pic for a slightly larger view), currently seen on the WB's critical darling (including this critic) but woefully underwatched drama, Jack & Bobby.
While it first appeared that Grace (played by Christine Lahti) would be romantically matched with University president Peter Benedict (John Slattery) in an "oil and vinegar" type romance it was not to be (though next week's previews make me think otherwise). But who could blame Grace for shifting gears to Tom (Bradley Cooper), her hunky and "could the possibly be any bluer?"-eyed grad student assistant. While their increasingly less secret relationship currently appears to be in some trouble - at least we were treated to a scene where Tom got down to his boxer briefs for what was to be a spontaneous love-making session on the dining room table. Yummy! This was one time when I was not pleased that Jack, played by the equally cute and "legal in real life" Matt Long, showed up to spoil it.
Having just turned the big 3-0, Cooper is still relatively new to show biz. His small screen debut was a good one though - in a 1998 (first season?) episode of Sex and The City where he played against none other than Sarah Jessica. His film debut was in the pretty darn awful Wet Hot American Summer (he skipped his graduation to appear in the movie!) -- and prior to Jack & Bobby he was probably best known for his stint on ABC's Alias.
The 6' 1 1/2" Cooper graduated from Georgetown University in 1997, and also attended the famous Actors Studio Drama School (home to James "what sound do you hate? what's your favorite curse word" Lipton of "Inside the Actors Studio").

I think this might be the finest wine yet. I love the site. Thanks for your daily contributions to my life :-)

So this is the gent who is messing up my potential Google ratings and searches. I'm sure we've never heard of each other.
