Aaron Stops By W&C

Just a gentle warning to my fellow bloggers, be careful what you write about as you can never be sure who will reading your blog!

I had quite the surprise last week.  My inbox rung with an incoming email and much to my delight it was a comment to my blog.  Getting a comment is not a daily (or often a even weekly!) occurrence for me - so I am always thrilled to get one.  So imagine my expression when I saw it was from Aaron Crumbaugh, currently on The Amazing Race 6. 

I admit to a bit of skepticism at first -- you can pretty much put in any name when commenting.  But after some further communication, I was confident it was the real thing.  Now, I also admit to a bit of embarrassment.  You see Aaron left a comment on my entry where I inducted him onto my Fine Wine List.  I am guessing being "honored" by a gay man was probably not high on Aaron's list of things he wanted to accomplish in life.  But as we have seen on TAR6, Aaron is pretty laid back and has a good sense of humor ... so I am glad he viewed this as just some good (and relatively clean) fun.

Aaron returned this week to settle the issue of his height.  He is in fact 6'5" -- a fact that is fudged for modeling gigs --  and he looked all that and more when he cramped himself into that car in Corsica. 

Aaron was nice enough to send (and allow me to post) this picture of himself and fellow TAR6 Racer Jon from New Year's -- it was taken right up from the road from me at Jon's bar in Scottsdale.

So just want to thank Aaron for stopping by, it was definitely cool to hear from him.  Folks, let's just not bug him too much and make him regret it!   

Actually, there is one more thing -- "Taylor" left me a comment on Dec 22nd re: the Berlin-to-Budapest leg asking... "I was wondering while watching last night we saw the top of Aaron's white underwear. Were they boxers or briefs?"

Aaron, care to fill us in? :-)

Hey Aaron if you're back anytime here a question: Were you ever on Blind Date with a girl and she got you to take your shorts off? Also if it was you were you wearing a pair small black briefs? Just wondering and brand were they?
