To celebrate the end of the week, we have a Fine Wine bonanza! A double dose...and when I was looking for pix I realized these two could pretty much be separated at birth... or at least brothers. Guess it is that combination of tightly cropped brown hair, scruffy face... and well they are both pretty good looking. Click on the pic for a slightly larger version, haven't quite figured out this automatic thumb-nailing here on TypePad.
On the left, we have Aaron Crumbaugh -- one of the pesky actor/model types from The Amazing Race 6. The 25-year old Californian, who is racing with his girlfriend of 8 months Hayden, caught me eye (along with some other bloggers) almost immediately. Aaron was an All-American volleyball player at Michigan State University and describes himself as both competitive and having a laid-back behavior (and thus far in TAR he has appeared to be the more level-headed team member, well except when he was on roller skis).
I have not be able to find any acting credits, but the picture I am using on the left (or in the gallery if you are looking at this at some later date) is one of Aaron's modeling shots from JetSet Models... here is a link to a Yahoo search that will lead to the JetSet site (the site is apparently down today, so I am not linking there directly).
Our second Fine Wine inductee of the day is a far more familiar face -- Matthew Fox. Fox stars in one of the biggest hits of the season ABC's Lost, but otherwise is most well-known as Charlie from Party of Five. I have been contemplating adding Fox to the list for some time now. While watching this week's episode of Lost, my other half was pondering why Fox was not on the list. I reminded him of the current crop of highly qualified men and then was asked if I had to limit it to three?! Hmmm... well, the first rule of Fine Wine, there are NO rules...so why not?!
Fox's increasing scruffiness as Dr. Jack has also been getting the attention of some other bloggers I read regularly. And in a TV Guide interview it was noted that Fox has been known to skinny-dip in ocean while on the set of Lost... where can I sign up for those type of workplace benefits! Hey Matt, we have a pool!
The picture I am using on the left (and in the gallery) is a bit old ... probably from the Charlie/PO5 days... Fox definitely has more hair... but the Lost scruff is in evidence... and that "come hither" look and slight smile was too hard to resist.
I am not eliminating anyone at this time. Jeff Probst was probably the next to go... but since I just proclaimed him the Fall 2004 FW Champion, it seemed a little harsh to knock him off just a couple of days later. With Survivor ending its season next Sunday, I figure I will keep him on for the duration. Still like how he is calling out the Survivors during tribal council.
But you don't mind looking at all five guys, right?

Thanks for the induction into your whine and cheese site, I'm honored! Hope your enjoying the show! LOL
