Ok, I know that this is the 3rd consecutive post revolving around the new kitten -- but life is revolving around the little guy at the moment. So don't worry this won't be turn into a blog about every single little thing this cute little creature does...hang in there!
Here is the update. He is still named Elvis and he is showing signs of living up to his name. He is hiding a lot less often and at the vet his was very vocal and gregarious. The diagnosis is that he has an eye infection (the vet referred to it as kitty "pink eye") ... so while this is not great news, it is still a far better alternative than the scratched eye we feared (via a possessed Lola on Friday pm). The vet said this is a fairly common ailment with kittens and that there was no need for any intense concern. The fun part is that we get to squirt a little stream of antibiotic ointment into his eye two times a day. He is pretty squirmy in general...so this should be a challenge, especially once he figures out what is about to happen! But hopefully his eye should clear up within a week.
Still playing around with some things here on W&C... figured out how to add some pictures, so I thought I would have some fun with it and add a new feature. If my workload agrees, I will be back to blog about what it is all about and how it will work. However, if you scroll down a bit and look at the right hand column, you will get a big hint! ;-)
